Po dodaniu w odpowiednim miejscu pliku, kopii albo skrótu do pliku z muzyką jest ona odtwarzana w stacji “MP3 Player”. Jednakże odtwarzacz zawiera kilka drobnych błędów. Oto niektóre z nich:
* W grze można ustawić, czy radio ma puszczać utwory po kolei, losowo czy w formie radia, czyli z reklamami. Jednakże niezależnie od wybranej opcji, pomiędzy piosenkami czasami pojawia się jedna z kilku reklam, które mogą trwać prawie 10 minut. W “GTA: VC” radio działało poprawnie, a reklamy były krótkie
* Po wyjściu i wejściu do samochodu albo zmianie radia, utwór zaczyna lecieć od nowa. W poprzedniej części gry nie startował on ponownie np. po chwilowym wyjściu z auta.
